Area Lighting Program

Directional security light

Members may have an area light, which works automatically from dusk to dawn, installed on their property. The light can be installed at no charge if installed on an existing service pole or transformer pole. The Co-op offers a wide range of outdoor lighting options. Choices range from 175-watt lamps to 1,000-watt directional lamps. Area lighting services are charged directly on the member’s monthly bill. Area Lighting options:

 

  • 175-watt lamp: $6.50 per month plus the fuel cost on 75 kWh
  • 250-watt directional lamp: $14.00 per month plus the fuel cost on 120 kWh
  • 400-watt directional lamp: $19.00 per month plus the fuel cost on 175 kWh
  • 1,000-watt directional lamp: $38.00 per month plus the fuel cost on 450 kWh
