Co-op to feature The Ball Brothers at Annual Meeting

Management at Claiborne Electric Cooperative is pleased to announce that the featured entertainment group for the 2012 Annual Membership Meeting will be The Ball Brothers, a sibling Gospel quartet from Chickamauga, Georgia.

The Ball Brothers will perform for Claiborne Electric members during the April 21 Annual Meeting at the Thomas Assembly Center on the campus of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston.

“We will be continuing our tradition of offering first-class Gospel entertainment to our members during the Annual Meeting,” said Mark Brown, General Manager and CEO of Claiborne Electric. “The Ball Brothers are young and fresh, yet still grounded in the Southern Gospel style that our members tell us they enjoy so much, so we feel this group is a great fit for our meeting.”

In 2006, the Ball Brothers were part of the Ernie Haase and Signature Sound Summer Tour. This tour introduced the brothers to a multitude of Gospel music fans during sold-out events across America. During the tour, they performed songs from their self-titled debut CD.

In 2007, the brothers reunited with Ernie Haase and Signature Sound to appear on the EHSS DVD “Get Away Jordan,” which was certified as gold in sales. The same year, the brothers appeared in the Gaither Homecoming video series.

The group attributes its success to the popular mix they have found of tradition and fresh excitement. This mix allows the group to appeal to a broad audience. The group attracts young people with their exciting live performances, and older members of the audience enjoy harmony at its finest.
