Just the Facts
Claiborne Electric Cooperative is a member-owned, not-for-profit, service organization that exists for one reason and one reason only... to meet the needs of our members.
The Co-op was founded in 1938. We deliver reliable, low-cost electric service to almost 24,000 meters. Those meters are spread along more than 4,200 miles of electric line in six parishes, including Bienville, Claiborne, Lincoln, Ouachita, Union and Webster. The Co-op provides 70 local jobs. Offices are located in Homer and Farmerville, and normal business hours at each office are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., although a dispatcher is on duty and line crews are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
